It's pretty good in the dry and in the right hands. Aha, the perfect excuse to post this again:
Guessing ring taxi? Or just very talented driver. Goes to show what a handful they are as that is on the dry on the ring. Bumps really upset the car, but in a way it adds to the fun. But I'd take E60 M5 over one any time, just for that engine though the new M5 is better in every other way, but the V10, oh the V10.
It's not the ring taxi, it's LHD and only takes three passengers.
It's my car but I'm passenger, my friend is driving. I'm almost a minute slower in the same car.
The guy behind the passenger is Tim, he builds data centres and definitely regretted getting in that car.
u wot m9?!Still unsure about this era of 6 series. It just doesn't look as nice as the previous generation imo.
u wot m9?!
Seriously though, I think this gen, especially the GC is a really nice looking car. The rear could be better, but the rest looks lovely imo.
Why are cars like these not 4 wheel drive ?
Surely you want 4 wheel drive in a car with this much power.
Guess I know what you mean..Same as I find an auto boxes really boringHorses for courses. Obviously AWD will make the car faster in the hands of an average driver but at the expense of involvement and grin-inducing oversteer.

First, wow for letting your mate drive your car like that.
Second, he can drive, great pedalling.![]()
Remember back when I was 16 years old and one my mates had a new motorbike (KLR250) which he let one his mates ride and who then done a wheelie lost control and wrote it off into a gate..I rarely let anybody drive my car
It is and it will become the norm. For road use when you get to this level of power 4WD is a must really.
