AMD Readies Massive Radeon Software Update with Crimson Relive Drivers – Performance Increases For R

Anyway to make my 290 run at full clock speeds when playing a game?

Keeps jumping all over the gaff, 600mhz, 350mhz, 1040mhz etc so ****ing annoying.

Before I installed these drivers, I had ASUS GPU Tweak II which allowed me to manually force max clocks each time I played a game. It doesn't seem to work now with these latest drivers.

Can I force full clocks in AMD wattman?

I would love to know how to force full clocks or just disable Wattman completely too. I'm having so many tearing and crashing issues because the RAM clocks keep sitting at 150Mhz.

Guessing - It sounds like power efficiency is being forced on in the new drivers but on older cards there is no switch to turn it off (because its generally crap and doesn't work well in a lot of games)

Tried changing core clock or memory clock from auto to a percentage?
I run my 290 at 4% core and 1250 memory it never drops from this when running a game.
also try resetting all games profile to default just in case something is bugged within profile wattman.

The problem I am having is that even with manual editing on, there's no ability for me to change my memory speeds. There's no segment on the graph that's movable and if I try to change it in something else like Afterburner my screens just go black and I have to hard reset.

Something is conflicting.
Uninstall afterburner for now and also DDU the driver and reinstall without afterburner for testing

you think there will be an update?
i dont like not seeing gpu temp in afterburner
thats the only thing thats bugging me right now tho

When did Pro become the new buzzword for marketing?

Starting to feel like the XP days. XP this, XP that...

I use the latest afterburner for monitoring only as I like the ability to control all the states that wattman gives. Plus I prefer inputting direct voltage numbers rather than plus or minus.

hwInfo can be used along with rtss to display GPU info instead of afterburner if it is conflicting though

I don't think overclocking software should have been added to the driver package, It's just asking for trouble, We've already had to wait 5 odd weeks for them to fix the auto fan option for Fiji cards. Plus it isn't exactly user friendly in that it counts in percentages rather than mhz's like every other version does.
