Guys I'm going to get one of these as I want to play a Zelda game hand held.

Can someone please clarify which is the latest and best Zelda game on the 3ds?
Thanks

A link between worlds has been the latest original zelda on the system, and its geared up to be a sequel to a link to the past from the snes!

Other than that you have remakes of the 2 n64 games ocarina of time and majoras mask!

You can also delve into the original DS zelda games but they dont hold a candle to the 3 above imo

Awesome thank you - I've just ordered a new 3ds Xl, charger and a link between worlds all in for £200.

It's getting delivered tonight at 7pm from Argos.

I have beer ready.

Ouch... that's gotta hurt the wallet. You shouldn't have to buy seperate charger for a tenner... even the 2DS comes with a charger. I feel sorry that there were no Black Friday deals for you. £200 is a bit too much for playing one game and more awkward, when the Switch is around the corner starting at the same price.

I sure hope you get your money's worth from it, I'd recommend Phoenix Wright and Pokemon. Remake Zelda's might get close to unplayable in terms of controls, but nowhere near as bad as Smash Bros. Some folks say grips (sold seperately) helps with comfort on those games.

OoT has been tweaked and is excellent on the 3DS too.

I agree, OOT was fantastic. Still not completed Majoras Mask though.

The NEW 3DS doesn't come with a charger strangely.

I disagree with unplayable, my hands got numb after a while. But the XL will resolve most of that, and playing Zelda for 6 hours is going to do that :p

None of them have since the original 3DS, not even the regular 3DS XL (except 2DS of course).

Numb hands sounds about right, but it's worse when you're playing one of the 3D Zeldas, doing a boss battle and hammering the face buttons whilst holding L to lock-on. Link Between Worlds hasn't been an issue for me.

I'm tempted to get one of these for myself now... I've started OoT on *cough*N64 as I've never completed it, but think I'd rather play a remake on handheld. Where's the best deal for the new 3DS XL?

The updated (not really a remake) 3DS version is well worth playing over the original.

I just looked at some videos of the 3DS version, looks much better, thanks! :)

Can you play older back-catalogue games on these things? ie: NES/SNES? I think I heard something about a market some time back.

You only play Snes games on the New 3DS and New 3DS XL. If you have the older model or 2D then its a no go.

Blimey the Black one is out of stock almost everywhere!!!

Might have to hold on for the January sales :(

Good luck with that, sales on any Nintendo console this year has been non-existent.

Ah, I think I'll just buy direct from the Nintendo store then.

Looking at the Nintendo Selects OoT and Link Between Worlds to come with it. Any other recommendations? I've never been into Pokémon so not considering those.
