Ex-Wham singer George Michael dies

Wasn't he struck down with pneumonia earlier this year or last yr and it was a bit touch and go??

I think it's pretty disrespectful to make silly assumptions based on his lifestyle ie being gay. Maybe that had nothing to do with his death, I suppose soon we will find out if it was due to that or maybe drugs or something else.

I am so shocked to read the news George Michael died at 53.

Here the update:

Thames Valley Police said: "At this stage the death is being treated as unexplained but not suspicious.
"A post-mortem will be undertaken in due course. There will be no further updates from Thames Valley Police until the post-mortem has taken place."

RIP George Michael :(

I walked passed his house earlier and saw
the Police and Paramedics outside. Was hoping it was something random.

Alas, no.

Just been back down there to lay a candle and pay my respects. :(

OMG Dowie are you for real, are you some sort of pathology expert, ask them if you can do the autopsies while your there.

You need to be a pathology expert to point out that a gay pop star with a drugs problem and an interest in risky anonymous sex who then died early, not in suspicious circumstances, might have died as a result of one of those two lifestyle choices?

People talking about 2016 being a bad year, try 1939-1945 or 1914-1918. This year we've had some celebrities who are either old or live questionable life styles die

I've always wondered about that due to the fact is fame on this level all it is cracked up to be when so many end up with drug, drink and other problems as it seems to be rife in entertainment.

Can you be so high at the top with none of these problems?

Oh and why is this in the PC section?

Was heart failure apparently.

pneumonia can be a side effect of some long term drug addictions. Cocaine causes irrevisible long term heart damage afaik.
If somebody is this rich and talented, I really think they'd be better off on a desert island for a year or more and hopefully break their circle of addiction. I guess there is no place they could check into that they cant just buy their way back out of. The finer the string the easier it may break

Wow, I had to do a double take at the title, couldn't believe it. Not particularly a fan of his but he has produced some classic hits that I liked, plus he's only 53!

R.i.P
