I feel like little bits of me have been chipped away this year... I don't know these people personally, but what they've done has in some way (even if its a tiny-tiny piece) added something to my make up... and Star Wars was a huge part of my childhood.
I can't remember the amount of times I've actually watched all SW films this year but it has been a lot, a lot more than I could count fingers on both hands, probably feet too. My favourite is still Empire Strikes Back. My daughter, even though not even one yet, loves SW (mainly Episode 1 and JarJar Binks).
It's been a crazy year, let's hope 2017 is more kind.
You could be hours, days, weeks, months, years or decades from death. We all just never know. Call it a mid-life crisis or the result of a serious illness in 2011 but I now try to enjoy every day as much as I can. Who knows when it will be the last.
Exactly this. In the morning (28th) it will be one year since my dad passed away. He woke up with a bit of pain and never even made it to hospital. He was only 46, which frightens the hell out of me.
This year amongst the struggles of adapting to life without him I've just pretty much gone and focused on what I want to achieve and enjoy. We've all got to make the most of it.
I had two heart attacks in 2013 @42, a third would have killed me I'm reliably informed.
You never know when your numbers up, live each day to the full, it's what I try to do now at least.
I don't worry about it, the cause of my issues are being treated and I live pretty much as I did before, I still work long hours (although not as long as I used to) I still smoke, drink and take risks if the need arises.
I know health freaks who've dropped dead in their 20's and cardiac time bombs who've lived to their 90's, as I say, you just never know.
Death is the one certainty in life yet it comes as a shock to most, we shouldn't fear it, just accept it'll come one day and enjoy life until it happens.
Hardly even heard of her but just read she was another drug addict. Not suprised she had mental illness if she was smoking pot and taking LSD. She certainly didn't look like a druggie. RIP however.
