Bought a new mobo and CPU A couple weeks back and since have been having issues with fps across all games, CSGO runs at 90-150fps for a while until CPU warms up then a 5-10 second stuttering with 20-30 fps occurs, WoW running between 20-40 fps in heavy environments overall in minimal settings.

powered by a Corsair CX600M

Upgrades have been an AMD FX8350 with a a rock 990 extreme3 motherboard

other indications something inst right is that my CPU seems to be working harder and the fans are louder... here are some other readings...

If there is any more info anybody needs to help me sort this I will be happy to send it over as
any help, information or advice is appreciated

Thanks, James

cpu could be throttling, make sure heatsink is making direct contact with the cpu.

thanks for the help :) I have checked the heat sink and thermal paste, the thermal paste seemed a little low so I applied a little more and same problem occurs

I'm thinking this could possibly be an issue with the ram not being quick enough for the cpu or possibly the heatsink or gpu, maybe it could be a hardware issue since the new mobo and cpu was such a big upgrade from the previous but I have no solid evidence of it and don't want to go spending if its something that can be tweeked to get it working stable
