Overwatch

Yeah, I quite enjoyed that as there are a few heroes I still haven't played much and this made me play some of them, with an excuse if I was terrible!

Quite simply yes.

It will soon be, if not already, the biggest FPS game on the market. Money flowing in from everywhere.

Really tempted to get this. What is the community like? Typical MOBA? Or a bit more relaxed?

TF2 is one of my all time favourites, and I'm a fan of MOBA type games. I'm currently playing Paladins, which is surprisingly fun! I'm hoping a game like this will help fill in that gap.

Also, I'm guessing you are far better off having pre-made teams, for better communication and what not?
 
Just started playing this after looking at it for ages and loving it, so polished, more so then rb6 anyway.. feel free to add me could do with some people to jump into a game with when online, want to get up to level 25 as I like to play competitively :)

FInding it very hard at the moment to win a match. Peaked at 2900 this season but dropping like a stone down to 2400 now.

I'm always willing to switch up but so many idiots just won't switch or pre-made 2/3 man's who pick things like widow/ana/hanzo as their 3 picks and do nothing the whole game.

Last night was awful - defending on Watchpoint: Gibraltar, premade 4 on my team and they pick - Widow/Hanzo/Sombra and Tracer to defend with.............Got absolutely destroyed in under 4mins.

Then on attack the same 4 pick, Torb/Junk/Widow/Bastion. The other team just spent the whole time laughing at the picks......

Just plain awful.
 
Maybe fun for you, but sometimes people wait to see what their team-mates pick and will pick something complementary... can't do that if someone's mucking about as a character then changing just as it starts...

Someone mentioned Oversumo a page or so back, thanks, great app.

 
finding the restriction on master rank to only being able to play within 500 points of teammates rather than 1000 a real ballache.

Some team mates now at 3600, others are 3078 for example and can't play :/ Why can't they just make it so that another at 3.5k can't play with anyone below 3k instead! This game is so frustrating when you don't have 6 and some spanner wants to play ana out of the group so we can't coordinate ults with the soldier because they never end up talking >_<
 
If anyone wants some games who actually has a Microphone and uses their brain, I am stuck in SOLO-Q hell around 2800-3000.

Took the plunge and decided to get it last night.

I was playing mainly Vs AI on hard to try out and get used to some of the heroes.

So far, I'm struggling to get to grips with the offence classes. None of them seem to click for some reason, other than Pharah. I've had a few good games with Torbjörn (My current fav) though, and a couple with Widowmaker.

I also had my first PvP game as well. It went exactly how I thought it would. :p
It was an Assault map. We were attacking. Everyone on my team went an offence class, so I decided to go tank (Reinhardt). They all stood near our spawn just killing, while I was trying to push to the point on my own. Safe to say we lost.

After that things seem to pick up for a bit. Really enjoying it so far though, I just need to try out offence classes more.
