Launch line up doesn't look fantastic with only 4 games, I imagine this could kill the console on arrival.

Point was exchange rates is mostly to blame for the pricing as $300 is a decent price for a console launch. But anyway...

Thought the reveal was really well done, much better than the cringe fest that was the PS4 Pro reveal 'Shudders'.

I think the price is fair considering this is a legit gaming tablet, home console hybrid.

The poor guys just hang on for a price cut / deals at Xmas time.

Good line up of games too, Mario, Zelda, Mario Kart, Splatoon 2 and portable Skyrim have got me sold. Any future games I will see as a bonus xD

Day one buy for me, my kids love Nintendo. Looking forward to this !

I can easily afford this, I'm not doing as the line up is dire. I played Skyrim 5 years ago, Splatoon 1 didn't do anything for me and Mario Kart well...isn't new.

Zelda isn't enough especially when it is out on the Wii U, unless they do what I think they'll do and delay that version 6 months / indefinitely.

I seem to recall knack outsold super mario 3D world... at least for awhile

Software won't be an issue. It is hardware that maybe hard to get on launch day.

There was also tons of 3rd party support and exclusives on the horizon.

I'm really undecided on the switch. Bomberman is probably the most exciting thing on it for me!

My Prediction: This is going to have shocking launch sales and probably bad sales generally until they get the price down. A lot of people will be looking at this as a handheld console and will not want to pay more than £200

I expect a similar situation to when 3DS was launched where they had to drop the price fast to stop a major fail from happening
