London Pollution

I had every intention of showing the AQI of the city I mainly reside in India (Ahmedabad) and show you guys that London isnt that bad at all in comparison. Seems I was massively wrong (although according to this we did hit 270+ yesterday).

London is a lot worse than I thought it would be for a developed country.

London has failed to phase out diesel use but they are going to get very tough on them soon. Those levels will drop massively once that happens.

Can anyone beat that?? My tiny Town doesnt appear on the map but its got to be under 10 more likely 5. Although i do live in the towncenter by the biggest carpark to make me less homesick for London.

i used to live in Romford, clearly visable in the east of London on the post above. (For those of you they aint sick of me repeating it over and over)

No complaints about the air quality where I live.

I don't visit London often, but you can taste pollution in the air. Diesel fumes are usually what London streets smell of.

Its kind of self-defeating with things like the London Marathon, where the point is that it's supposed to be a healthy thing to do.

Though all you end up doing is smoking several packets of cigarettes - figuratively.
