Resident Evil 7 Soon ;) cant wait..... :)

One thing that really shocked me...

The bit early on when you first find Mia and she goes feral and hacks your hand off. I mean I know its re-attatched, but I thought at first they were going to make us play most of the game one handed! :eek:
 
The only jerky bits I've had are going in and out of scripted events where it resets your position. I have had some minor drift but manageable by resetting the view now and again.
 
Does the story relate to re6 at all? it says on steam it picks up where re6 left off but to be hoenst i thought 6 was that crap i can't even remember the end.

I've been into resi evil since ps1 watching my dad play it when i was a little kid haha so i'm really pumped to play this.

Only thing i'm not to sure about is the fact they don't really look like zombies or infected but more like they experimented on themselves. that being said i've not played it so i don't really know.
 
Oh my days....

Top Resident Evil game this is.

The first person view really conveys a sense of claustrophobia and suits the game perfectly. Only about an hour in but damn it's intense.

They just look like rednecks to me (only played the demo).
 
Just played the Kitchen demo in VR in anticipation for tomorrow.

Jesus....I knew what was going to happen but still! :D
 
I've spent the evening playing this in VR and love it, VR adds so much to the game especially in parts where you need to sneek around, finding myself just peeping around corners etc. I've been looking forward to this game for a while and not disappointed.
 
Outlast + resident evil old skool mechanics...

its pretty sweet and get better and better as you play it...

also HDR mode works with LG b6 OLED tvs and probably all the others :D
980TI runs HDR just fine...... from its 2.0 spec hdmi port to the 2.0b port on the B6...

also game looks epic in hdr mode :) though looks just as good on the PS4 pro HDR version :)
 
God this game freaked me out on two occasions last night. The first ..

when she's pins you to the wall with a screwdriver and cuts your arm off with a chainsaw!
and

when daddy slices the top of the cops headoff with a shovel!

Also (still early game):
When 'Jack' (dad) smashed through a wall with his hammer thing, it made me jump a mile using PSVR
