I have to say, I'm a little bit surprised at the size of the performance gap between my 980ti and 1080. Benchmark scores have increased between 10-15%. I was expecting a bit more TBH.

1080 was never a worthwhile upgrade from a 980 Ti especially when overclocked to 1450mhz+ my Ti sitting at 1550mhz is faster than a 1070 and not a whole lot slower than 1080.

I've gone from a 980Ti to a 1080 and it was worthwhile for me, around 20% faster in GTAV at 2560x1080, which makes a difference with it maxed out and running 4x MSAA

Same with Deus Ex, a nice performance increase (although no chance of running 4 x MSAA on there unfortunately!)
