Why? Can you justify your opinion? Why something that cost more than a flag ship model android tablet has 20% of its features?
I look at it differently, I spend 2h to 3h a day on travelling with public transport. Tablet is very important as I can carry books, movies, tv shows, music. My phone is for calling and work as battery is garbage(like any smartphone). So Nintendo switch looks very good till you compare it to any tablet and realise it has no feature at all. You can tell me it a gaming device but that will not change the fact is very pooooooooooooooor in features. I have never play any Nintendo game so no hype from me about first party games.
If this was android table with skyrim on it I would be sold as of now it PS Vita with only half of features.
If you don't play Nintendo games, a Nintendo is a bad choice...
Just like every other Nintendo console; it plays Nintendo games. That's all it needs to do.
Because it's built as a gaming device and that's it. If I wanted a tablet, I'd buy one. Nintendo aren't going to suddenly start trying to take on iPad's.
Edit: reading the last comment, I'm pretty sure this is bait anyway.
Back in a day I can agree with you but now when they are putting more effort on 3rd party developers and Unreal 4 is supported. We still have to wait for more game to be announce and if I get a nice list I will think about it. AS of now I can't see many reasons to get this device... Especially after we found out that dock is just lump of plastic and dose nothing to better the experience.
It looks even better when you compare it to tablets that can't produce anything close to Nintendo games.

That's a lie!!! 3DS can play youtube and netflix and there is no need to connect your phone to it to get essential features.
Then don't buy it. I am buying it for Nintendo games. 6 inch is too small for a tablet anyway, my phone is already 5 point 7 inches and is starting to feel small.
Plus battery is not an issue these days. I got me a power bank recently that can keep my phone charged for two weeks easily. Will even charge the Switch at least 4-5 times
For that a single cable would be enough, we where told(maybe to hard of a word) convince it will cool the device and it will use dark magic to make it better. Now we have a device that cant use BT headphones and controllers are not working properly when too far out.
