You're right. I'm disappointed. I'm disappointed that the Switch has fallen short of its potential and become just another device for the Nintendo faithful to fawn over.
I like Nintendo games. The truth is, I don't like them enough to spend £280 on the console. It needs some degree of added value to make sense for me. If it had proper third party support it could replace my PS4; I don't use it much now anyway. If it had a basic selection of apps, it could replace my tablet (again, not used much, unless I'm travelling). The lack of either makes it a big expense for a machine that won't get much use. With the high price of games, I'd be unlikely to buy more than a couple a year.
I guess I'm realising that while the concept appeals to me, the reality doesn't.
