No surprise to see people moaning once again, see you all next Monday
For the most part I love the show, but there have been two amazingly bad episodes this season, this one and the one focused on Tara at the riverside community or whatever its called.
Nothing wrong with stating an opinion on the quality of the episode is there?
I am not really referring to anyone in particular about moaning. It is just the trend for the walking dead threads on here
And as for the Tara episode, maybe people hated it but it is extremely obvious that they are going to play some part in this now given that last part about them needing guns and Rick saying to Tara, you can advise us where to go and not to go "as you have been further out scavenging than any one else".

I agree that it serves the overall plot, just I think it could have been done much better than it was!
If I recall correctly at that point we'd only had one episode with the main group and the reaction to the major events at the start of the series, we then got a Morgan / Carol episode, a Tara episode and I think a Hilltop episode (not 100% on this) - I think it would have been better attempting to tell a mix of 4 stories in each episode, instead of single episode story threads the way they did.

I still don't know why they just didn't have a real tiger (after all it's not like they have the cat doing anything else other than sat by Ezekiel's side, walking on a chain or lazing in a cage) and then spend the money saved on decent FX elsewhere.

I see it a little like football fans. Some people moan all the time about how annoying/bad their team is, you don't tell them to support someone else
Granted, it's not exactly the same, but people have invested a lot of time in this show, so want to see it through but are annoyed when they feel let down.
People would moan like crazy that a tiger had a chain around its neck or was caged up.
LOL.. I think it may have something to do with it being a TV show and them all being actors!! I think I read that for the Negan punishment episode, they put in 2-3, 16 hours days to get that one scene right. I can't imagine having a full grown Tiger sit there for hours on end in the heat and not get little tetchy when they shout "action" at him. I guess at some point in the future the Tiger is going to do do real Tiger stuff like tearing people to bits for fun. CGI will save on the hospital bills. While CGI is expensive, I can't believe it's anything like as expensive as it's been in the past.
I saw that yesterday, I think he needs a swift smack round the head from Lucile to be honest.

LOL, this was my exact thought. I can't even describe the way they talk without using an offensive word. It was laughable.
