I know my machine currently supports 6TB drives because I am using one in my machine but I require more space and was going to pick up another couple of 6TB (1 to use and 1 for backup) but then I saw the 8TB's
Do these drives require more current motherboards as my one is a few years old, it is an MSI Z77A-GD65.
I am also running Windows 7 still (I like it) if that would cause any issues ?
I cannot see any issues myself but a second opinion before shelling out £600 smackers which for me is an awful lot of money (I save up money bit by bit and keep it aside for replacement parts unless I need to dip into it).
