On the basis of what i have seen and read about the whole case (and that's quite a lot). My opinion.
How interesting that your opinion is not shared by any of the police and legal authorities involved in this case. I wonder why that might be?

Going into all the details and inconsistencies of the mccanns statements, book and interviews would take far more time than i actually have.
Put it this way, there's a lot of information out there if you are prepared to dig and read. If you are interested emough, you can do that and form your own opinion.

I think as far as common sense goes the alleged actions of the McCanns is extremely dodgy and points to some kind of a cover up, the law though requires evidence and proof much of which is missing due to the aforementioned actions and obstructions taken by the McCann's.

Problem is the Portuguese police bungled the whole investigation.
Difficult to get anything approaching concrete evidence now.
And the mccanns know it.
From all the info i have seen, i believe she was dead very early on in their holiday and they were formulating a plan before reporting her missing to the police.
