Shots fired outside parliament - Please refrain from speculative and antagonistic posts

As others have said, this was an impressively swift and quintessentially British response to a random terrorist attack. Huge respect for the bobbies!

So yesterday we have all the fawning over a dead terrorist - but today , a lot of anger regarding , another dead terrorist?

I didn't see anyone fawning over Martin McGuinness.

Sounds dreadful and it's obviously a terrible thing to happen, sympathises and thoughts to the victims, but (and please take this the way that's it's intended) I'm somewhat glad (and hope) that this is the worst 'they' can do...? *touch wood*

Hopefully the lack of anything more substantial is a result of all the hard work going on behind closed doors.

Advantage of blighty being tiny. Well, that & it happening in London. Bet you if it'd been anywhere else the response would've been a hell of a lot slower, what with everything being spent down South.

Not to mention it happening outside the Houses of Parliament, I doubt there's many better protected buildings in the country.

Paging Tony Blair...

Down with Blair!!

I'm pretty sure Scotland Yard is very very close by too.

Nearly neighbours!

Not surprised this happened but am surprised by how 'poorly' executed it was. It could have been much worse if the attacker used a heavier vehicle and had a gun for example. Looking at street view and there are probably hundreds of people walking along there at any given time.

Thoughts are with the innocents.

Against terrorists? I think everyone does already.

Or....Did you mean something much darker?

Well you just know it's going to be some brainwashed nutter trying to make a reason why they do this and don't like our way of life, these type of people should be eliminated off the face of the earth once and for all.
