Problem is that V10 swap development is very thin, expect the instrument cluster to look like it's Christmas. Technica and others like them make sure everything works with the V8 as if it came out the factory like that.

As a road car usable every day with all the sensors, lights and dials working and calibrated, the v8 builds are much more appealing!

Genuinely never knew these were V6 twin turbos. Makes it all the more amazing it took the rest of the world so long to get over 500BHP from a similar configuration years later!

260 bhp/tonne and 12s 1/4 mile is a lot of performance for sub 4k including purchase price

Damn right!
I spent 10x that and am at around 295 bhp/tonne, LOL.

The M3 is around 280 bhp/tonne.

Weight is the biggest enemy at sub 100mph speeds, I think my M3 is just as quick to 100 if not faster than the Mustang, even though it has less power, though the M3's gearing is absolutely perfect, 6th is 186mph which the car will actually do. Whereas the Mustang is 240mph, which it cannot do! Though saying that 130-160mph in the Mustang is done in a couple blinks of an eye, but that is the horsepower factor kicking in and weight is not much of an issue once beyond 100mph, more about aero-dynamics and horsepower.

The M3 is more slippery than the Mustang hence 150+ its actually quicker and more stable, when I hit 180+ leptons indicated it was remarkably stable. :)

I do love my Mustang, I would love an GT 350, but sorry Ford, even though I feel the Mustang is the better looking car, I'd be taking the Camaro ZL1 everytime:

GM had made a stonking car, already priced myself one up at $63,500 with options, so very tempted to order one or see if Litchfield can get me one of these as new Mustang will cost me 40k-45k and then I will want to drop 10k in mods on it if not more. Whereas this will be 60k and well needs no modifications as GM have it totally spot on out the box just like a GT3 and other super cars.

Question is can I cope with a road sweeper again? :D
