What watch do you wear?

If you want chavvy then an all black everything Hublot is the one, although at the price they are only coke dealers are buying them :D

Though if you are looking for something that will return close to retail in a second hand sale then Rolex is unfortunately one of the few who dont drop like a lead balloon.

Is that accurate? I always thought the higher end Omegas did well but I'm relatively new to the game so may be talking utter rubbish.

Nothing holds its value like a SS sports rolex tbh. Ive had a bunch of other brands over the years and got a pasting on resale with each of them. Part of this is that its difficult to impossible to get a SS sports rolex discounted and you dont every see them at 0% finance - unlike omega et al. So many Omegas get sold on 0% that you instantly lose 20% as you walk out of the boutique.

My BLNR has apprecitaed by nearly 1500 quid since I bought it!

Nothing anywhere near that price :)

I got mine from Amazon, I forget how much i paid for mine but I did see there were others on Amazon which were cheaper but didn't have a good rep in previous posts (775 pages in the thread so can't point out individual points)

Anyone? I know nothing about them other than I want one. Preferably in blue however they seem to command a premium over black.

If I get the job news I want then I may pull the trigger soon.

Have a browse through Chrono24 and search for exactly what you're after. I personally don't like the 116610 date Subs, but prefer the older 16610 as they're rather more elegant to my eye. There are lots of articles out there comparing the different reference numbers.

Yes you can buy brand spankers, but it'll be a 116610.

When you say blue, do you mean blue dial, blue bezel, blue...?

I've seen this Tudor which has the marking on the movement 2843-1 yet, if I'm not mistaken, they didn't make this calibre movement?

What say you detectives?

Possibly but doing a quick search ...

The ceramic Daytona is an oddity as is my BLNR which command thousands more used as you cant get them readily new.

However the common GMT II ceramic above you can get very easily new but still commands a great resale value.
