NK vs USA

I guess we will see what happens over the next 24 hours, there can only be one course of action as i see it, we have to simply reduce NK nuclear capabilities to 0 with one swift pre-emptive punch.

I'm beginning to think NK actually want a war.

War is inevitable imo. They will not listen to anyone and will keep developing better and better nukes with greater distances. Bloody stupid idiots. Even the words from the chinese today showed that they are now willing to punish NK if they continue to provoke. Just gonna end up getting themselves vaporised.
 
I'm pretty convinced that NK will run a test tomorrow on their big celebration day and I'm also pretty sure it wont get off the ground before several thousand pounds of missiles and bombs obliterate it. I don't think yesterday's MOAB drop was a coincidence knowing NK would be watching and knowing it could be dropping over Pyongyang anytime soon without the international condemnation of a nuke.
 
I think the US is going to shoot down their test nuke. Those destroyers have weapons that can intercept it the second it lifts off.

At this point I think Trump is just goading NK to attack first, so the US have an excuse to get rid of the fat man without repercussions from the UN. That's the thing about dictatorships, you only have to get rid of the dictator and the whole system collapses. Kim likes to tell his people he is a god and can't be killed, so when he dies the illusion is broken.

It would be interesting to see if China would go in if they launched it, they are certainly making enough noises. It would make sense for them to take control and install a puppet government in there to maintain their buffer zone, which is really all they are bothered about.
 
Why can we not find peace on this planet? As far as we know we are rather special, there's not another planet like it. But here we are trying to destroy each other. We've not learned the lessons of the past either. We need to join together as a race and just get on with improving our species including sharing the wealth, sharing our countries but no, the human race is selfish, destructive, greedy and f'ing stupid.
I'm personally fed up with the stupidty that is Brexit, Trump's USA (both of which how selfishness, intolerance IMO), and the other issues of the modern day.
Okay, lets nuke ourselves. If there is intelligent life out there, maybe one day they'll visit our planet and see what we've done to ourselves, how we've treated each other and LOL at our stupidity. To quote a movie "Earth, what a ****hole" :D (alien resurrection).
I don't care who would 'win' any war, the willy waving, we should all (everyone of every country) try to do our bit to stop the stupidy. Wars should be of the past. Why the heck do we have some a disliking and intolerance of each other - and only really caring about what we see, what affects us?

On a positive note, at least it's Easter :D.

Not sure on that - NK has ok anti-air defences especially around the capital and the MOAB has to be delivered by a C-130 or similar. US would have to go on an all out offensive with targetting their air defences and aircraft capabilities to deliver it - maybe that was why they are warming up the tomahawks heh.

this would be preferable if any action is taken... though it is very risky, even shooting down a missile test that threatens their neighbours could provoke the north into retaliation against the south with very nasty consequences...

the US needs to standby to quickly launch a massive attack in response if they're going to try anything

can fit into a B2 apparently so not a problem at all for the US - ideally, if needed, they can rapidly remove the little fat man and get a quick surrender
 
why is it left to america yet again.
why is there not a united world front, to remove this horrible dictator with so much blood on his hands, It should have been done decades ago.
the world is not this huge place anymore. Its time we acted as a world and not individuals and put far more pressure on such regimes.

what evr happens will be a disaster, leave him in or america blows them up. There wont be the resources in place to deal with the fallout.

Agree. Everyone accuses and ridicules the US of trying to be the 'worlds police', but the fact is, they have to because no-one else will do it. Dictators like fat man cant be ignored. They are like a cancer, just sitting, festering, causing irreparable damage and eventually taking lives. No man who straps people to the front of anti artillery guns should be allowed control of nuclear weapons, or run a country come to that.

A NK woman on SKy news today proclaimed with a smile "Our future looks much brighter because of Kim Jong-Un". Er, no, you've been brainwashed. If he carries on, none of you will have a future. All you'll know is war and famine.

Ah didn't know that. Looks like B-2 could theoretically carry 2 of them though untested.
 
I'm pretty certain USA could press a button an NK would be vapourised in a matter of minutes.

More suprised that no-one (or team) has been hired to take out Kim Jong-Un and his entire family before he does anything he will regret

I'd imagine it isn't a society that is easy to infiltrate and he appears relatively well guarded.
 
I wouldnt put it past the dictator to store the nuke in Pyongyang, US forces wont be able to enter the city for fear of losing them all.

Well it's what i'd do.

Well the foreign journalists who have been invited have been told they will be picked up at 4:30am local time, no phones etc allowed which suggests the big man will be present so it's possible he'll coordinate a test / launch from there.
