Very tough fight to call, lot of unknown variables. Wlads hardly at the age to be getting better has had 18 months out of the ring and lets be honest didn't look much good against Fury. Conversely Joshua has never been really tested at anything like this level and the only decent test he had (against Whyte) Whyte had him looking a bit static and in trouble at points.

If AJ wins I think it'll be a stoppage in the first 5-6 rounds if Wlad wins it'll be a points job and probably a horrible huggy fight same as the Fury one!

Agreed but I think he and Whyte do not like each other so I'm guessing that was personal and he just wanted to scrap it out with him. He did take a good whack from white and recovered well enough also and he seems to have come on quite a bit too.

But I just don't know if someone with only 44 rounds under their belt is ready for a potential ATG heavyweight. Literally can't pick it.

I think age could be the deciding factor and that puts me into favoring AJ.

I like Klitschko but speaking as a fellow 41 year old he has a really tough fight ahead of him. His best chance in my opinion is on points but that means going the distance against a heavy hitter.

I can't say I will be disappointed whoever wins. If Klitschko does win I would like him to retire as champ and then lets get all the top heavy weights fighting each other, that includes Wilder. Looking through quite a few boxers records where unknowns are 40 plus fight and only 5 losses or 20 and 1, the whole division (and boxing) need a good shake-up.

Absolutely agree on the highlighted bit.

Wlad of 2-3 years ago, I would confidently put him to easily take care of business.

Wlad of Fury fight, I would say edges it. Don't think AJ matches up to WK as well as Fury does.

Wlad of Fury fight, diminished by 18 months of ageing... It's AJ's.

If the Fury fight was a blip, a bad camp with personal distractions, then I lean toward WK. If it were a sign of age catching up with the big fella, then he's only going to be worse - AJ has it.

I'm nailing my colours to the Ukrainian. I reckon he'll control the fight and wear AJ down. But I'm not super-confident.

Got it for £10 :)

Complained about the last box office stream (Haye vs Bellew) which they refunded me in full for as the stream was so intermittent.

Got a 50% voucher code yesterday for the AJ fight
I got the Haye stream for £5 last time and would never buy any box office event stream ever again after that. It just didn't work at all, would have been furious if I paid full price.

Finger crossed there are no issues this time else we'll be fuming!

Current odds:

Joshua 2/5
Klitschko 2/1

So the bookies are favouring AJ. Taking hype out of those figures, it's probably close to even. Certainly value in a WK bet IMO.

Biggest HW fight in years n years. Im really looking forward to it. I do think AJ will come out victorious, but its gunna be a massive challenge. WK has nothing to lose so he's gunna throw the kitchen sink n lot at AJ.

Off topic, Haye bugging me even more than before the Bellew fight. Every video/post he puts up is him stating he will be HW champion again soon. Sorry, but i may of beleived in him before the Bellew fight but no chance after seing them rounds before his leg went.

As I'm sure you're all aware by now, there's to be absolutely no mentioning of illegal streams - that includes even the most subtle of hints. The only way you can watch this fight in the UK is via Sky Box Office.

This is the first fight in long time that I'm genuinely excited about, the last one being Hatton Pacman.

I'm in the strange situation where probably for the time I'm not overly bothered about who wins. If AJ wins great he's british and hype train continues and good for him. If Klitschko wins you have to admire the man and his dedication. Most people at his age with that amount of money would just call it a day and spend more time with his gorgeous wife!

Irrespective of who comes out on top I think the way they have both conducted themselves is impressive and how it should be. No tables being thrown around etc etc.

I'd echo this as well, guess it shows if the individuals concerned have the talent they don't need to manufacture hatred to sell tickets!

The more ive watched the buildup the more I fancy Klitchko to win tbh and I think he will put aj on his ass

Like AJ has said as a fighter gets older one thing you don't lose is your power, and vlad can bang, he couldn't catch fury clean but AJ doesn't possess the boxing skills and ringship of fury
