So where did all the RX 500 cards go?

They are still there but ocuk don't appear to be restocking polaris with any urgency - have had my eye on them as have been considering a 570/580 to give freesync a whirl. The rx570 has been on preorder at £170 for weeks (other places too).

@phiiil

if you want a cool beast!

my basket at overclockers uk:

Total: £299.89
(includes shipping: £9.90)

have two of these and run 45c in Firestrike extreme benchmarks - one doesnt even turn on its fans haha

Stock unfortunately sells out very quick and obtaining more in any volume is difficult as AMD are sold out worldwide. Stock should improve towards end of June. Though we do have several 580 and some 570 models in stock.

Man, these prices. They all seem more expensive than the equivalent RX 480s were? I wouldn't be surprised if the RX 480 was better bang-for-buck than the RX 580 is, even though the pound is stronger now that it was before the RX 580 was released!

I always told ya the RX 480 was a steal and was a better buy than 580, some listened and grabbed a bargain. :)

Blimey. Is that just demand or are there supply issues?

now the question is, when we pre order for vega to get from the first batch available.......

I got my hands on one of the first 480 Nitro's when they came out... just need to wait for Vega pre-orders to appear now!

I'm sorry but at least for me if rather have the raw gpu horsepower in which case it's a no contest vs 980 Ti or 1070

true, nothing beats raw horse power but when you haven't got a G-sync monitor with a 1070 or 60+ hz monitor its like driving an F1 card does a residential street haha .

price is so good for a basic 1080p 120hz Freesync monitor that you could pare it up with a 570/80 can get flawless game play.

just depends on users requirements but will always be demand for this card even though prices are creeping up =/

cant deny something like this is a sweet little package cheaper then a GTX 1070 :D
(coming from someone that had a 1070 and 1440p 60hz monitor lol)

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £376.68
(includes shipping: £11.70)

@Gibbo any rounds of GPU-Sync monitors coming up soon?

Nice package, but the cheapest 8gb version is only upward of £20 more and still be less than a 1070.
