News outlets reporting a "serious incident" at the zoo.

No other info yet but random tweets mentioned a loose tiger and a mauling but they may be false.

Anyone heard anything else?

A spokeswoman for the attraction denied claims on social media that a tiger had escaped from its enclosure.

A Cambridgeshire Police spokesman said: "We can confirm that no animals have escaped and members of the public are safe."

(Source).

Perhaps some nutter jumped in to play with the big cats, and copped a sharp dose of reality.

A spokesperson of the zoo says no animals are on the loose... Police have also denied the rumour of a tiger loose

Harambe vol.2?

"Female zoo-keeper killed after tiger enters enclosure"
so for once, instead of someone jumping into the tigers' enclosure, the tiger jumped into the keepers' enclosure?

That's saddening. Surely someone made a mistake that led to a Tiger and a keeper being in the enclosure together.

Nice proof reading... "A female zoo-keeper has died a "freak accident" after a tiger entered an enclosure at a wildlife park."

This part's a bit bizarre.

"Then staff were running towards the tigers and lions area. We were all told to leave the park. But after 20 minutes everyone was allowed back in.

"Staff asked us to leave again. They're not saying what happened. However, they were great. They were calm, just doing their job."

Why would they let them back in after that happened, only to turf them out again?

Why would they let them back in after that happened, only to turf them out again?

Probably the person in charge not having a clue what the protocol was for a death during visiting hours and no written procedure to follow

RIP :(

ridiculous how something like this can happen - when you're dealing with dangerous, potentially lethal, animals there ought to be clear simple procedures that everyone follows as a matter of routine
