Nice. I have one that's pretty similar - the numerals are larger on mine, keeps time very well for an auto.got this recently:

That looks great. I know what you mean about a grey rather than black strap. But I still think it works.Currently got this. Bought on the steel bracelet, trying out GSOTM strap. What do we think of the colour mismatch (black v grey). Just need to sell a kidney to buy the ceramic buckle now - unless anyone has any alternative ideas.

I think the strap works. Adds some depth and I can't say I'm a fan of black leather straps.
Does anyone have the Omega PO 8800 39.5mm? I've wanted the 8500 for some time but always found an excuse to not pull the trigger. However with the 8800 having the micro-adjustable bracelet I'm closer than ever to buying one.

Beautiful! I think it works perfectly.
Can't help as I have a 42mm but just to let you know the microadjustable buckle can be retrofitted to a lot of the previous models, on some it's a straight swap and on others it requires swapping the end links.
Just SS in the 39.5mm size

I've found an amazing deal on a titanium 8500 42mm PO but the 8800 appeals to me as it's less bulky.
Strap on my IWC broke, 3 weeks after it was serviced. Going back to shop for a new strap and I'm not paying!

It will not clamp shut and I must be honest, I can see no reason why but it won't. I was on a train home a couple of weeks back and it went ping, opened and would not shut. I can see no reason why as I said, but it's not working.

Lovely looking watch, but those 12 and 6 hour markers being cut through by the secondary dials would bug me.
