I don't see any reason Conservatives won't be able to form a propped up government unless we get a few surprises, once that's done Corbyn should stand down as they will never get a majority with him leading the party.

Er thats what I said. its now at $1.27 and after we filed A50 it dropped to $1.24 there fore it is higher than when we filed Brexit.??????????????????

Ah right, well it was $2.09 is 2007

If you are trying to somehow prove the pound has risen vs what could have been then you are wrong.

Because it will wind up the Tories :) Its fun to watch.

Labour won't form a government, it would be suicide.

Corbyn needs to take the result as a leadership mandate and shake up his cabinet and get the party behind him, wait 5 years while the Tories screw up the country with Brexit, then waltz into a big majority.

Just to illustrate how bad the Conservative campaign was, I can't remember them talking about jobs or the economy once. Why am I only seeing this tweet now after the election? It should have been front and centre on every interview Corbyn gave:

Jeremy Corbyn said:
Congratulations to Hugo Chavez; huge victory on high poll in clean election. Social justice for Venezuela!

Whilst it's probably not the result we needed, I'm sort of proud of the fact people saw straight through the horrendous smear campaign against Corbyn. 72% young turnout too (apologies if that's incorrect)? That's definitely something to be happy about!

How can May harp on about stability with a straight face! She has literally removed the stability the country had by calling this election and losing her majority! Ridiculous.

You'd have to be daft as a young person not to vote if a party was promising to wipe out Uni fees :)

How have labour got the stones to say they should be forming a government?

It's 40% vs 42% of the vote so a clear swing towards Labour so I don't see problem with them saying that, but it's not possible anyway so it doesn't really matter.

With more time to prepare and campaign it could have been even worse for her.

Wonder if she'll still be quoting "it was the will of the people" with this result :p
