***E3 - 2017 ***

Disagree tbh, even the MS exclusives trumped Sony's this year. Days gone and Uncharted Legacy are the only ones i'm interested in from Sony.

Where the hell was TLOU2? I guess I was expecting something really exciting, perhaps some news on an exclusive we haven't heard about yet, BB2, something like that.

If we are talking launch exclusives I agree, not console. Each to their own etc.

TLOU2 is in lockdown I assume, maybe show something later this year but that's a 2019 release imo

Your standards are low if you are excited about a 6 year old game in VR, I mean seriously?

Maybe, but I loved skyrim and being able to explore that world, a proper fleshed out world and not just a short "experience", in VR with all that content, something to really sink my teeth into, yeh that's exciting.
My expectations of what games can come across to VR are realistic, maybe that's the root of excitement. But I'm certainly not going to be a little princess over graphics or anything like that.

But whatever, I'm quite content looking forward to stuff rather than feeling negative and whinging about things

Dusted off my PS3 this morning and downloaded Beyond Good & Evil HD. Kinda passed me by first time, liked the BGE2 trailer, very French a la Luc Besson!

Sony still have the Tokyo Gameshow and PlayStation Experience to show stuff.

What exclusives? There's only a few games that are actually MS exclusives. The rest are all multi platform.

Ori, Crackdown 3, Forza 7, State of Decay 2, Sea of Thieves. Then you've got the timed exclusives like PUBG.

Far more interesting (to me obviously) than Sony's offerings. Days gone and the new Uncharted story are the only ones that i'm bothered about.

Well I was little disappointed with the Sony Conference. The games they did show looked great and I was interested in all really and good to see VR was given some time.

Actually I was really enjoying it (more so than MS which I was bored with for most of it) however then I realised that was going to be it, it felt like it was building up to something and then it ended.

However on IGN there are lots more games that I either missed or was not mentioned. Knack 2 is out in September, maybe not the best game but I enjoyed the first. And more Surprisingly Ni No Kuni 2 is out in November, that is a game that I am really looking forward to and the first was very well recieved, seems strange that Sony did not mention that as it is a game many people are looking forward to.

Sea of thieves is for pc too ? Looks epic does that , along with Spider-Man I think them 2 are the most intriguing games so far ...

For me though it's all about Nintendo today please announce something spectacular for the switch :D ... Even if we just get a good gameplay demo of the new Mario

Solid show from Sony several new games shown in pre-show and an update on the ones shown last year. No real megaton, but they have 2 or 3 more shows this year to show new stuff. Plenty of real exclusives shown and decent showing for VR, and quite a lot out the rest of the year.
I think Ubisofts has been the best so far but they always do great trailers it's just the games themselves are the problem in many cases.
On paper MS should have knocked it out the park but failed to show anything I can't get elsewhere and mixed exclusivity talk seemed to be a smokescreen to hide the very lack lustre 1st party games. The xb1x looks a great console in power etc but MS didn't really show enough to make you go I need this now, perhaps having a decent PC is the issue for me. E3 has been okay this year not full of surprises or megatons just some excellent looking games and an update on stuff we know about.

I thought the Sony trailer reel was quite impressive from what I've seen this morning. I didn't watch the show itself but just the trailers mind. I was very impressed by Spiderman QTE Edition, Days Gone, and the comical nature of Beyond Good and Evil 2 the latter of which I've never even heard of. It was good to see an excellent looking VR prequel (The Inpatient) to Until Dawn also!
