*** Nintendo Switch ***

It's a cool little game. Charming as hell in a Rareware kind of way.. Music is great. Looks really nice in handheld or on the TV. Puzzles are tough!

As I said, the yellow pair is good, but we need the same with red and blue. The other pair, personally I really dislike, just because it's not a matching pair of colours. It's not about the option of colours you can get, but rather the ability to get matching colours that has me annoyed. There's only the yellow option outside of grey and red or blue requires one to buy a neon Switch in the first place, if you don't live in the US/Australia to buy those matching colour pair joycons. Or trade for it.

My goal is to have a set of red joycons, aka a red left joycon and a red right joycon. Unfortunately, the Switch bundle I've pre-ordered includes grey joycons, so I've got no chance of getting a right hand red joycon.

This is what I meant by the options we don't get over here:

As you can see, the red/blue matching paired joycons are very popular and are sold out as as expected.

I just want to update folks here who sent their joy cons off for repair.
Had mine back and works a charm.

Infact I asked them to also address an issue where the joy con appears to be slightly loose when docked with the switch, that issue has completely gone away and both joy cons sit nice and secure in the switch. Happy :)

What's customer service like in the U.K. ? I really can't decide wether or not to send my unit in for. A slight curve :( ...

Is everyone else's dead straight ?

I think mine has a tiny curve perhaps but its completely irrelevant. It doesn't rock at all when placed flat unless you consider 1/4 mm wobble something. I wouldn't bother. I don't think its indicative of build quality/issues to come so I wouldn't bother unless its really pronounced and its annoying you.

Customer service are decent if you call and talk to them. Via email theyre hopeless.

Also they took a while to turn around the repairs but claim they had a massive backlog (relating to the joy con at least, not sure about the curve).

Right lads, My switch has a good inch of dust gathering on it after completing zelda, gimmie three good reasons not to sell it to my mate.

Base did do separate Blue/Red joy-con packs in the initial run back in March, but they sold out straight away.

As Kranix subtlety pointed out, Mario Odyssey :) That and the announcement of a new Metroid Prime were enough for me. Everything else is just gravy.

If Mario Odyssey is worth the price of the console then keep it. I've not used my Switch (apart from to try a few demos) since a week or 2 after getting it however I'm happy to buy a console even if it is for one game (but I will moan about it, lol). Can't think of any other reason tbh.
