You tube stunt Gunshot death

Bullet-proof vests... Who knew they were filled with books? Well this stupid fool thought they were and convinced his other half enough to pull the trigger!

There are two astonishing facts here.

1. There are people stupid enough to think that one of the largest calibre, widely available pistols that you can buy would be thwarted by a book.
2. The above people could legally buy such a weapon.

So sad for all concerned but jeez, utter foolishness.

If the book was armed, then maybe this wouldn't have happened :mad::mad:

I know you mean that as a joke, but i really do not understand how anyone can use that defense for having guns.

The only way to prove these people wrong is to shoot them, then ask why having a gun on them did not help at all.

Edit: And then go to a mental prison because eyewitnesses tell police you are talking to the dead man.

They failed one of the most basic rules of firearm ownership - never point it at anything you don't intend to kill.

Girlfriend is 19 years old, with a 3 year old son. Looks like these two geniuses knew how to have babies, and not much else.

Stopping a Desert Eagle with a book? Utterly hilarious. But hey, 'Murica. Nothing needs to make sense.

There is little doubt that a responsible adult who behaves appropriately is under very little danger. The point made by activists for more gun control is that the requirements for obtaining a weapon or owning a weapon in the US does not make sure that the owner is a responsible person or that it will be kept out of reach of those who are irresponsible.

Our gun controls are not fool proof but they seem to be far more effective at preventing guns from getting into the wrong hands (be it criminals, children or idiots). I believe here you require to be a member of a registered gun club (who i think are suppose to make sure you understand safety and ownership) and require a reason to own anything 'exotic', which will stop a lot of over enthusiastic 'hobbiests'

I feel sorry for the poor kids and the brainless woman a little. Natural selection was a little late it seems. I can't imagine living my whole life knowing I had killed someone I was supposed to love for internet points.

How thick was the book? Considering they were retarded enough to use a desert eagle i wouldn't be surprised if the book was a 4 page pamphlet.

'Mmmm, paper seems at least 240gsm and gloss finish too.... best switch it up to the desert eagle so it has enough penetrating power to get embedded in the pamphlet. W certainly want to avoid it ricocheting off such thick paper'

I'm struggling to come to terms with the fact that this actually happened. It's like I'm living in some sort of tv show joke reality.
