Try Imgur.com. It's the best uploader you'll find these days.

Yeah its awful now. Plus its plastered in ads that seem to et past both of my adblockers. A few years ago it was pretty fast and was a handy place to store pictures, now i'll have to look for something better.

I have quite a few images in photobucket still. Literally been using photobucket since 2004 when I signed up to OCUK and everyone told me to use it back then Will have to move to Imgur too.

Basically PB are stopping all hotlinking on free accounts, and if you're over your free storage limit, your account will be suspended unless you pay up, starting at $6 a month. While I don't use PB any more, I have a couple of thousand images from years back when I did use it on multiple forums, which are going to end up as dead links, very annoying!

Yep same email, 3rd party hosting now blocked unless i pay, I clicked link to see detail but it prompted me to login which I couldnt be bother to this morning to even see the cost.

Does Google Photos work as forum links?

Any issues with Imgur ? looks as though can upload big images - maybe

The maximum file size for non-animated images (think JPG, PNG, etc) is 20MB.
The maximum file size for animated images (like GIFs) is 200MB. GIF files over 2MB will be converted to GIFVs. PNG files over 5MB will be converted to JPEGs.
Non-animated images over 1MB for anonymous uploads and 5MB for account holders will be lossily compressed. All non-animated images receive lossless compression that reduces filesize while maintaining quality. Large GIFs will be converted to GIFV, which shrinks file size while maintaining a high quality, perfect for our expert GIF makers.

put a link in signature to new album with the images.
Need a hot link indirection server to guard against future charging.
