They never have, they have always been at pains to make it absolutely clear it is not a gamers card and that its gaming performance would be much lower than the eventual gamers card.

the joke wasn't actually about suicide, it was hinting at how certain people will be monumentally depressed once rx vega launches because they're so invested in a company....

Thing is AMD have nothing to gain by keeping their cards close to their chest at this point and everything potentially to lose - at the very least they should have got someone official to go along to someone like PCPer with a Vega gaming card and do a bit of demoing alongside the FE edition even if they had to keep some stuff limited due to not being fully ready yet or whatever.
Sorry I misunderstood what you were saying.
The only real explanation at this stage is the quite obvious fact that RX Vega and FE Vega are the same GPU with the same drivers and have the same performance so there is nothing AMD really can do.

Most recently, watch PcPer's stream, he asked AMD for gaming drivers, they told him there are none and its not a gaming card.
Other than that, you are insisting it performance is indicative of RX gaming performance, the burden of proof is on you, you can't prove it, its just another one of your blanket statements.

Not that I have been watching all sources of Vega news lately or reading the FE's marketing, but that post sticks in my head. How much more optimized or faster? Lets wait and see.

Sorry bud, it's been billed since the FE branding was announced as a pro card that can game, honestly mate, I reckon this is one of AMD's usual **** ups in trying to monetise a Titan product and as per usual come off leaving AMD looking stupid.
With all this 'RX will be better' pr, they do more harm than good in the pro scene, but it obviously(surely) must mean any marketing overall is better than silence.
Pretty sure Raja did say the FE would be a great 4K card too.
