Well got a score of 2771 on Heaven using the usual settings Ultra/Extreme and X8 @ 1920x1080 , is that about right or should I get getting more. 4790K at stock with 16Gb RAM / SSD Etc etc

not sure , but it is saying 1911Mhz on the heaven benchmark thingy and 5005Mhz on the memory

Not really played with it properly yet , all i did was uninstall the ATI drivers with the cleaner app , RX480 out and 1080FE in , installed latest WHQL nvidia drivers , rebooted and run Heaven

Well I have a Define R5 case and from what I have witnessed so far , it is barely audible over my case fans , I have Corsair SP140 x 2 and Stock Define 5 140mm x 2 on the fronts with the Corsair H110GT Rad mounted , Plus a Corsair SP120 on the back.

It is a lot quieter than my Nitro and I would say even the Vapor-X , only ran Heaven continuously thought for the time being.

It's a bit different now with power limits etc, best to read up on it elsewhere just to make sure you understand it fully

Just ran a quick Heaven benchmark and did ramp up slightly in noise , but it is pretty quiet even when hitting 82C according to the Heaven program , so far happy , gonna play a few games later.

I think what's worthwhile remembering is you'll have sound in the majority of the time when stressing the card so it shouldn't be too intrusive a sound

mines topped out at 84 with a few 3D Mark runs with a small OC applied, happy enough with that.

yes ofc i always do that regardless. however looks more increasingly like i will be getting an nvidia card

Also there is no free Games with any 1080TI's, Is this the case now or are they not listed ?

The £499 1080 G1 is tempting, but I'm not sure now is the right time to splurge £500 on a GPU.

The 1000 series is at the tail end of it's life cycle.

Even at £450 it's a bit too much.
