since when did AMD make monitors? plus the new samsung QD monitors are supposedly FS2.
They don't. But FS2 needs AMD certification.
If there are none to compliment Vega.....

My mind to your mind, my thoughts to your thoughts...lol
Come on TNA, I made the logical choice and went Nvidia lol!

You shall and always will be....my friend....as long as you ditch this mentality LOLMy mind to your mind, my thoughts to your thoughts...
I can sense your desire to own Vega, you are suppressing your emotions. You are human, it is illogical to not to follow your emotions. You must immediately rid yourself of your nvidia hardware and prepare yourself for Vega which will set you free!

I am loathe to agree but I do. It makes no sense to keep features turned off with the gaming Vega supposedly very close to launch. As proven in this thread, people's expectations are very low now and I imagine a few have already said **** it and bought NVidia. Hopefully AMD have just screwed up and gaming Vega will be much faster but not sure this will be the case sadly.I really don't understand why AMD would spend at least a year working on Vega drivers to only turn on certain features with only 4 weeks to go before launch, it makes no sense at all.

They are hurting their own sales if that is the case but who knows? AMD do have a habit of messing up launches!Maybe that's their plan, keep expectations low then when the RX comes out it's like the second coming of 9700!

Haha. Yeah. You shall and always will be....my friend....as long as you ditch this mentality LOL
Lets see what happens, we both been in the game long enough.

Yup. If the underlying premises aren't accurate, being based on incomplete and vague information, then flawless logic can still lead you to a bad conclusion.Except it's based on assumptions not facts.
If that is true why did AMD tell Ryan at Pcper that he had the latest upto date drivers and the only difference between them and what releases with the RX Vega is what get's added over the next 4 weeks?
I think the counter-argument to that is... why not?
Nobody really knows is the truth. It could be 10% or it could be 40%. It's just that most people are guessing towards the low end of that spectrum. It's still a guess though.

yet they clearly state on their own Product Page for the card, in Black and White, as clear as day, that it is a gaming card.
It's not a lie if the available driver is the latest driver available. Ask AMD what their best performing gaming card is, they will not say it's the RX, because the RX isn't released yet. Both are accurate and true statements, but they don't refer to the bigger picture or put themselves in the context of what's coming a few weeks from now. That's a deliberate thing, just like "we don't comment on unannounced products".
The AMD contact told Ryan that the drivers coming with RX Vega will be the same drivers as we have been given with the FE now, The only difference will be the addition of any work they do from now till then, How is that not in context for what's coming in a few weeks?
Do they? can you link to that? I can only see one line about gaming and that's in the driver download section. 99% of the product page is about work/professional stuff.
