Instagram.

Instacrap is the new aids on society now that farcebook seems to have fallen out of popularity (certinaly in my group of friends)

Where people have to post pictures of thier food before they eat it and constantly check "famous " peoples profiles to see what drivel they have decided to take a picture of.

I love the responses that social media threads bring :p

There is a really big Warhammer community on Instagram so I have an account that I post pictures of my models and work in progress on and follow a load of people that do the same. I find it's another great way of getting more hobby content which I'm all for, plus everyone I've spoken to on there when asking for tips or ideas have been really nice and helpful, it's a good community.

I'm the same as Spuj, I have a Instagram account for my miniature painting. There's a massive knowledgeable GW community on there. Its brilliant for sharing your progress, helping other people by offering advice, or just for some well needed inspiration.

I think its great and my miniature painting feed has 0% people sharing their food.

I disagree, I only follow people I'm interested in (mostly mountain biking) and I get all sorts of news/info first. Along with loads of 'rad' edits. It's very handy, the same with all social media it's up to you how it's used.

Like everything in life it depends on how you use it.

My name here is the same there. I like Instagram - I only started using it recently, but it's nice to see stuff that's happening in people's lives that they don't deem important enough to put on Facebook.

I'll follow you for the E46 M3 in some of the photos, but will do so with absolute disgust for the use of smoked headlights and depo repeater lenses  :p

Mine is in sig.

That F40 was in front of me at the traffic lights in Swindon, J16. It blew a lot of black smoke leaving the line but was a beauty to see!! Would recognise that license plate anywhere lol

Apparently instagram is the new Facebook for the youths. I cannot see the point of instagram at all.

That's because you don't have it. I used to feel similarly, but for example, one of my friends doesn't have Facebook, but his gf has Instagram and it was awesome for me to go on her Instagram and see what he's been up to. Because it's purely photos, and there's not really much text, not too political etc, it's nice just to scroll through and see what people are up to. Facebook has become too cumbersome.

My nephews and their thousands of friends seem to be able to communicate through the medium of single letters and emoticons on Instagram.

Moving more towards 1984?
