When I am not working I play a lot more than 7 hours a day, more like 12 or 14 sometimes.

The comical part about it is there are people on this forum who think I don't do any gaming at all.:)

Well that would be because years back you yourself said something along the lines of you didn't play much and only really liked Strategy games. Wasn't those words but was something like that. I do notice atm you pushing that you play a lot of games. If you do then no need to justify it so much :D:D:D.

The point I am making is gaming is a good option due to the lack of content in this thread.

As to gaming just because I prefer strategy games does not mean I don't play a lot.:)

Each to there own for what genre of games you like. You are certainly playing more than me atm. Got ligament damage in my right thumb, having to wear a big piece of plastic over it so can't grip a mouse good enough to want to play and can't feel the buttons on a pad so not playing at all. It's very boring. As you say there is very little to talk about in the threads atm so better to spend time gaming. Only another 2 weeks until we find out what's what with the gaming Version of Vega. Here's hoping the gaming performance is way better than the FE card.

Tiled rendering needs driver enabling not application level.

I'm not 100% on that - people have said about it being upto the drivers but AMD said it works through the draw stream binning stuff and that needs to be enabled at a per application level - while there is a driver level deferred mode fallback it isn't as efficient as the application developer implementing it through whichever mode works best for their application.

Stop ****ing then you dirty *******!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:D

Lol if only. Stag night damage from a friendly body shot comp. Clipped the guys elbow. Never felt a thing but noticed my thumb was bent and wouldn't straighten. If I knew I was not gonna be able to game for 6 to weeks would just have stayed seated when I called called out. Should know better at 39 but nah still rise to the challenge to shoe those younger who the boss is lol.

Vega driver support

If AMD's driver team do as good a job for Vega as they've done for Fiji they'll have a great product.
I remember a couple of years ago when Lisa Su said something along the lines off "We at AMD do not want to be seen as the cheaper/lesser option".
At the time the most repeated response here was that they need to get the driver's on track with day one releases and regular updates etc, Which they did.
Sure there's been hiccup's, especially with the new Polaris stuff but they've slogged away and kept releasing updates reliably and consistently.
I had my Fury for around 18 months and during that time there's been 5 or 6 occasions where I had an issue and every one
has been resolved within an acceptable length of time.
The way we can help keep the driver's as good as they've been is by always report issues through AMD's reporting page.
Moaning on forum's is all well and good but we need to make sure the right people see our problem's so they can fix them.

Sounds like my kind of night :D ;)

But they are feeling the strain and driver support is slipping. It's been several releases now where there is no bug reporting page available from the Radeon UI. Months of the "unexpected wattman error" crashes, and intermittent not resetting of the monitor on wake from monitor sleep, and there's no way to report this. Even the bug reporting page from the driver download page now links to a 404. Looks like AMD are trying to reduce the number of bug reports they have to deal with by making it impossible to report bugs.

AMD's drivers updates have totally screwed up my HDMI audio, it's hasn't been right for months now
