I've noticed in many videos... Vega FE temps seem to be lower or comparable to the Nvidia cards. The 1080 specifically even have much lower power consumption. How is that possible? Is the cooling on the FE so good?

The FE cooler is as good as the the MSI Armor, and better than 1080/Ti Titan Xp Reference according to Gamers Nexus testing.

The limited edition air cooler seems to be just the fe version with a different colour shroud, wonder how it compares to the stock card with the cooler it has, presumably the only difference is the shroud with the same vapour chamber underneath in both cases.

so when do we get reviews and benchmarks? I really hope they beat 1080 performance otherwise a 2+ year old overclocked 980 Ti will draw the same or less power whilst offering near identical performance..... which is 28nm and more than 2 years old.

The Frontier's edition's cooler is slightly better than nvidia's design, mainly because it has a larger heatsink.

I don't think they realise they have a fan base that if serviced correctly will be loyal, buy their products, and evangelise the company. This is something that the likes of Apple and Nvidia understand and use to their advantage.

I don't get this loyalty thing. You're just a number to them. If that.

"AMD appreciates the excitement and curiosity surrounding the Radeon Holocube. The Radeon Holocube was developed as a prototype and at this time, it is one of very few that exist in the world. The Holocube will not be shipping with Radeon RX Vega in August." - Official statement from AMD

Damn AMD are friggin so incompetent, they couldn't get that little one thing right. Their lack of communication skills will always amaze me ! Although I didn't care much for the box, I could see a lot getting excited about it, I mean they are real pros on killing momentum on an announcement with a stupid little thing, I mean in the end what the hell was the point of showing it ????? They are crazy lol.

If we boycott (I still am, I want a 1070 but not for £400), we'll just have to go without. That's why I'm picking up a PS4 Pro on Black Friday, and probably kissing PC gaming goodbye.

Nothing wrong with preferring console but I dont think its going to be any cheaper if comparing the costs overall. If all of this Vega release is rushed or late, by black friday it could look a lot clearer and more of an attractive buy then the current chaos of guessing.

By tomorrow morning will we will actually know all models prices in Sterling or just dollars

It is getting sold just in very limited quantities.
To be fair he did say like 3 times its very limited sales.

We had a video previously of a special display model, is this what Linus has
