Yep not good, the packs are a bit funny, don't really understand... You pay an extra 100$ for 2 games and an "up to" reduction,

I guess that explains the price discrepancy of 200$ on their blog when they were talking about the screen price difference in between the screens at Budapest.

And damn +200$ for an aio ... ok it's a bit more involved than your average aio but damn... 699$ is crazy.

So according to AMD's own slides Vega is no faster than a 1080. Cost, no cheaper unless you buy a new ryzen system and freesync monitor bundle.
L.O.L

What's the SEP next to the price? Surely it's not September availablity

September 30 :D the pantomime has been going on for far too long already so might as well renege on the Siggraph launch promise and keep the tension up till the very last day of the new date, cuz you know... nVidia are not yet quite ready to launch Volta.

whats the rush? calm down, its only revenue.

So gland i'm not waiting forever... i got mine elsewhere ages ago.

As expected faster than 1080 but much slower than ti. Whole engineering and driver team needs to be fired along with the head aka Raja. Seriously die shrink of Fury with higher clocks probably would have gotten same results, so much waste of money and time for nothing ...

Wait for it to be confirmed, pointless talking about its Price or release. Was only early on price leaked from Newegg had different listings.
AMD Radeon RX Vega: $499

AMD Radeon RX Vega Limited Edition Model: $549

AMD Radeon RX Vega Liquid Cooler Model: $599

AMD Radeon RX Vega Liquid Cooler Limited Edition Model: $649

This shows two Liquid packages

And you know things are bad when AMD seem to think a 980ti is a valid GPU comparison. Yay, AMD can finally compete with Nvidia last generation.on a bigger node just before Nvidia move to Volta.

But hey, buy a freesync monitor and you can't tell.how far behind AMD are, except in the summer.time.your room will get roasting hot

Ehh

Nah SEP means "somebody else's problem" coz I sure won't be picking one up :)

So, September for reference. So decent aib cards october if you're lucky. So I guess FE really was just to say "we made h1 2017". GPU div has lost the plot. Get so much right with Ryzen and get what seems to be everything wrong with vega.

So they state more fps than 980ti????? and 1080 (but don't give settings)..but what if both have X-Synch monitors? Then the experience should be close to the same, no? They did, after all spend a lot of energy showing how you can't tell the difference with the v-sync gimmicks; so now all of a sudden its "look! we get more frames!"?

...and where did the 1070 go? Are they actually trying to put it up against a 28nm part (980ti)? Wow. By the way, the high end 980Ti's still pull less power.

September really ? Omg talk about failure, they should film another ad this time with theme of 'Poor Vega' written in red. Which will actually suit their product line ...

Lets me get this straight AMD

You want me to pay $699 ,which translates to £700 because we get shafted here in the uk, for a RX VEGA water cooler which cannot compete with a 1080TI in performance but is a 1080TI PRICE.

AND only available in September.

I will take 10 please:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Save your money and power bill people buy NVIDIA.
