AMD should be thinking long term here, suffer a loss on RX Vega to keep the existing Freesync owners and build up new customers. Imagine how different the talk would be right now if AMD pricing went as follows:-
That same Vega 10 chip is used in more lucrative segments, so there is no point selling it for loss to gamers. If someone is willing to trade freesync+amd to gsync+nvidia they are propably willing to trade it back if AMD gets something worthwile in gaming segment.
I understand what you are saying but saying Vega prices are "insulting" is complitely retarded. AMD cant sell those massive chips much cheaper because they would be making loss. Nvidia on the other hand is making nice profit out of you, while you are praising them.Seems you just want to see what you want to see. Point is one could have had this performance ages ago for the same price, not to mention on a card that runs more efficient. Vega came very late and did not improve price for performance like it should have. End of the day people complained Nvidia is milking us so people waited; over a year later now waiting those people will be rewarded by getting milked by AMD. lol.
