Don't be mean, fiction writers have to start somewhere. Based on that reddit post I predict he could be the next J K Rowling.
lol :)

Looks like this Vega thread will be breaking the 500 page mark before release also :p

In before "I don't see 500 pages, mine is xxx pages, I use man size pages!" :D

If keybaud is correct I'll bare my **** in the main street for a year.

Someone send him a new pump tub of "hand cream". Simply not plausible and certainly not a strategy mirrored on the CPU side when they delivered a competitive product. Despite what our indian mate at RTG thinks, his balls are in Su's handbag and she will zip it closed if need be.

I'm looking forward to Vega 56, I think it may just be a sweet card until Navi.

HBCC and HBM are pro features not suitable for a gaming card
Why did AMD stress the benefits of HBCC to games. Is it absolute Yes or No on this or will we see mixed results, maybe only a few games to benefit

Hold on so if i buy lots of Vega 56 undervolt them and clock up the memory to 1.9Gbps or round about im getting 63~Mhs for Vega 64 money? And keeping power usage down.Sweet!

...and there go my hopes on getting a Vega 56
Mate just pray to Zeus to throw a lightning to his rig and burn it, if he gets the Vega 56 before you.

I do the same for the Vega 64, and my prayers might be heard since I am Greek :D
But need to find a damn wild boar on this island to sacrifice, when the Vega 64 arrives....and this island has none

Or buy Vega64 and overclock the memory and undervolt the core.. and you'll get MORE HASHES! :D

No but that would help power Vega MORE POWAAA!!!

My guess is that AIB cards are still a month away at best for Vega 56, probably longer (read somewhere that it might even be December). I doubt the mining craze will have settled by then...

I know, perhaps I can use my RX480 for negotiating with miners! I'll be putting it on the market AFTER I get a Vega 56 (can't risk being left without a card).

Anyway, I'm pretty sure OcUK will sort us out. I'll put in a pre-order on some Sapphire model and just wait, same as I did for the 480.

Probably. At worst you'd need to change the memory timings which would need a new bios editor.

I wish someone would leak some performance numbers, this thread is becoming painful to read.

Its 9 days left before NDA lifts but still no leaks, usually we have such leaks by some obscure Chinese website.
I wonder what AMD are playing at.

It would seem they have not even sent samples out yet, at this rate nobody will be able to get reviews done intime for the NDA. Maybe
they are working on this magic 50% performance increase driver.
