Assuming they can be snagged at all with the miners pulling their puds over them from distance. Just have to wait and see how things go =/

It looks like Linus is gong to rip AMD a new one next week. skip to 21:38ish
Why didn't AMD announce the $499 for Vega 64 if you have to buy it in a bundle costing more?
For gamers who already have the ideal setup and just want to get their hands on a groundbreaking Radeon RX Vega graphics card, AMD is also offering the Radeon RX Vega 56 on its own, the world's most powerful graphics card under SEP $400, and the Radeon RX Vega 64 air-cooled card priced at SEP $499.
Radeon Packs and Radeon RX Vega graphics cards are expected to be available starting August 14th. For more information on where to buy visit http://radeon.com/RXVega.
I thought that was the only way to get the special edition silver versions. Can only get the liquid cooled with a CPU, mobo and monitor, lol.
I still have my HD6950 flashed to 6970. Sweet times. Won't happen. He also states it could be worthwhile getting a VEGA 56 and flash it, as long as things like HBM voltage or other memory differences aren't holding it back it could be near enough 64 performance.
Technically you just buy the bundle and don't bother buying the whole coomputer with a $200 discount. Can only get the liquid cooled with a CPU, mobo and monitor, lol.
All we have are e-tailers early listings - based on the AMD press release there will be the possibility to buy single cards from the 14th:
Everyone has seen these store prices, placeholder or otherwise & started melting down again.

This leaves you with a $700 VEga64 that gets trounced by a 1080ti
AMD gave official US pricesI didn't think the prices had been released yet?
Or are we just taking screenshots without the necessary bucket of salt?

Price it at 1080ti prices, I expect 1080ti performance.
Probably. Tbh if it gets 100mhs you can pay for the card mining away in a few months so....If true, that pre-order on the Gigabyte 1080ti at £639 looks rather attractive.
I wonder if there's a miner markup on that Vega.
The Vega party already ended for me when I looked at the power requirements. I only got a 650W PSU and Vega needs 1000WDream on with that 100MH/s
Meanwhile, i think i am completely fatigued and bored waiting for rx vega... the excitement surrounding the product has now been completely destroyed.. its hit a new low in the mariana trench
anyone feeling the same?![]()
And you might get that....in two year's time.
