Last time I did this must've been 15 years ago, but we just got a kick ass audio system for our workshop but it only does CDs.

Tried windows media player does it allegedly, so tried that, it found fault with the files. Updated K-lite, tried again, still useless.

Tried a third party program, can't remember the name, also useless.

Anyone got any tips? I have a few different formats I'd like to use so it'll have to transcode.

C'mon folks, help a '90s brotha out :D

If it's a "kick ass audio system" surely there's a 3.5mm jack somewhere to plug your phone/Chromecast/other device in and be done with it? Bam all the music in the world at your fingertips. Providing you subscribe to a music service of course.. :o

Sadly not as simple as that. I want to play Barbie Girl at full pelt tomorrow for my crew and don't have a lead at hand. It's also in the basement so no phone signal :(

Windows media player should be fine. I still burn cd's regularly. I find it more satisfying putting a new cd on in the car compared to just making another playlist or adding it to my iPod.:D You sure the files aren't corrupted?

Wowza! You're gonna be dancing the day away with all the music you'll fit onto a music CD, all 19 songs!
