That's not the point. Yes, some religions do have more violent adherents than others. However, if you got rid of their religions they'd find some other outlet, excuse, whatever for their violence.

In any event, I am not saying some religions are toxic. Islam certainly is toxic. What I am saying is that even without religion, there'd still be conflict, because its a fundamental part of the human experience. And frankly eternal peace is not desirable.

Of course people would still find conflict and resolve that conflict, sometimes violently.
But there is a huge difference between conflict over, say, resources or territory, and religion-driven conflict.
Even when terrorists like IRA or ETA kill civilians, killing civilians is not their primary goal. It is a horrible means to a different end. Whereas with Islam-driven terrorists, killing infidels is their primary goal because they believe they are doing it for their god and will be rewarded for it.
And again, there are countries in europe and elsewhere where none of these insane mass murderous attacks are happening. And they all have one thing in common.
