Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition Launches Early 2018 With A Slew Of GameWorks Technologies.

I would like to say no but I will have to decide at the time. Probably will but hoping not and of course depends on how fast it is :)
Translation, Gregter will be getting Volta :p;)

To be honest I think this time there is a better chance you may not, as I would imagine the 1080Ti runs everything buttery smooth at your resolution. But you never know, I can see FFXV twisting your hand. All those gameworks effects sure will have a huge impact on fps and if you want to keep close to 100fps, you are going to need Volta :p

I feel confident Nvidia won't rest on their laurels and the 2080 will provide a decent improvement over the 1080Ti. My hope is that the 2070 will be close to a 1080Ti performance, but get all the benefits of running on the new arc and lower tdp :D

I imagine Volta will be quite a bit faster than Pascal considering GV100 has double the transistor count of GP102, How that translates into the GeForce cards is a mystery but I imagine it will be a good chunk faster than what we have now.

The gaming world most likely won't be seeing GV100. As with Pascal it will most likely be GV104 and then GV102 for Titan then it. Those chips will likely come no where near the size of GV100.

One thing is for sure, it will be faster than Vega. Lol.

Poor Volta my arse :p

I've not seen anything from nVidia regarding their gaming lineups for Volta - all seems to be pro stuff. Wouldn't surprise me if Volta was similar to Vega in terms of both gaming gains and vastly improved pro performance.

Regardless, I do fully expect many fps-halving effects in FFXV now :(
