*** Nintendo Switch ***

Decided to order the physical version of the binding of Isaac which is out tomorrow! Anyone else getting it (or already have the US version)?

I've only played the first game on PC so thought it would be nice to try it with all the rebirth/afterbirth updates on the switch.

It's a shame sonic mania isn't out on physical release. I like getting the physical versions of games for collecting (and resale purposes if I get bored of a game.)

Yeah, I don't want sonic for resale. It just seems appropriate buying wants effectively a retro game like that in a physical cartridge copy:)

I'll still probably get it for switch digitally though. I was going to buy the PC version but as it requires an internet connection to play (denuvo copy protection) I won't be buying it until they remove that restriction.

You could always print your own boxes for the digital games :)

But empty boxes for digital games? Seems like a waste of time, effort and expense. Oh well each to their own!

I've never been a collector of things.

I'm a complete Isaac fan, got the UK version pre-ordered for the Switch, played 1 and 2 on the PC and have over 1300 hours on them before.

I just got an email from Amazon to state that the order is delayed and they are still trying to get hold of the stock. Hopefully it will land in the next week.
 
I bought the digital version from Amazon for £22 (pre-order promise price from ages ago) as I want to be able to trade it in if I don't like it.

Wow, that's some serious game time! I've also noticed that the Amazon website is stating it's out of stock as you say. I've not received an email yet but I only ordered my copy yesterday so I'm guessing mine will be the same :(

My local GAME store has it but they want £40 RRP so I'll just wait for my Amazon order seeing as it's over a tenner less. Even on Steam the Isaac afterbirth+ bundle is £25 so I'd prefer the flexibility of having it on switch for gaming on the go.

Hopefully it isn't delayed too long!
 
Genuine question.

I have come close to buying a switch a few times now but stopped.

I have a Wii U, is there much point buying a Switch, really?

I know there is the portability factor, this might get used but its not enough to swing it on that basis.
