Hi. My partner who uses a USB thumb stick for work is looking for a cloud based storage system

So she can store work files on and access at home and work as worried one day she may loose or forget her USB stick.

Which ones are worth looking at that are free. Don't need a huge amount of storage.

Thanks you

You could use dropbox which has a free 2GB account or if you have google account maybe use google drive?

I use dropbox free and no issues at all for my needs

Dropbox is really good for free, there's a few extra bits of storage you can earn by engaging various social platforms and stuff so it makes enhances the storage.

Depends what she's working on really. How much does she need?

Any of the free ones, if it's photos she works on Amazon Drive might be a option as you get unlimited photo storage.

Yeah I wouldn't let 'free' be the deciding factor here unless you don't have a suitable payment method for various reasons.

i would like to give a shout for hubic. 25Gb for free, 100gb for 1 euro a month or 10tb for 5 euro a month :)
https://hubic.com/en/

That's pretty damn good and it's run by OVH too :)

EDIT - I have joined up since it would be rude not to :D I will check out the desktop app later on tonight and depending on how it works I might have to switch some things round.

I would advise against Onedrive, I used it for a decade until this year when I moved to Google Drive after Microsoft decided to remove 80% of my storage to try and coax me onto their paid 1TB plan (yeah awesome plan, worked almost as well as shutting down MSN messenger to force users to switch to the less popular Skype software lol). Wouldn't trust MS with a barge pole after that mess.
