*** Nintendo Switch ***

I pre-ordered mine for £27.99 on amazon, see its not £33.99 but Amazon lock in the cheapest pre order price so I am all good, I just need em to get stock and send the thing out now, really wanting Isaac on the Switch, need to tap that addiction :p

I notice it's saying it's in stock on Amazon now so we should get it tomorrow or Monday. My order status has been updated to dispatching so hopefully tomorrow.....

Actually, if I create a new order it says the delivery date will be 12 September? I noticed in a Reddit thread someone said that the release date for Isaac had changed to the 12th September instead of the 7th but most retailers hadn't realised which is why some sold it and others didn't? Strange goings on....

Amazon is still showing as trying to locate stock for this for my order. I will hold out and see what happens, I noticed The Game COllector is selling it for £30.85 so might give them a punt and cancel the Amazon order.

I just received an email from Amazon saying my copy of Binding of Isaac has been dispatched and will be delivered tomorrow so hopefully everyone else's should be en route as well.

Yay :D

Have I missed the boat on getting Wabbits cheap?

It seems really pricey everywhere. I was tempted but I don't think it's the kind of game that would hold my attention for long as the levels all seem to be fixed unlike xcom where everything is generally randomised which improves the replay factor. Without a level editor, online multiplayer and randomised maps/placement if seems like it could get old pretty fast. I'm already hearing they have DLC season pass planned for it :(

I'm going to hold fire on rabbids for now and see if I can get it cheaper in a few months time when everyone has completed it.

The switches first 6 months have been fantastic and we have a lot more in store. I think it’s going to be the most popular and best console of this generation.

I think I'm going to do the same, I agree about the replay factor. With its Mario connections, I'm whiling to bet it'll stay at a high price for quite some time though.

You're probably right as switch and 3ds games seem to hold their value really well. Still, I don't feel comfortable paying £50 for it. Maybe at half price I'll give it a shot.

I bought a 2dsxl the other week and most of the games I wanted to get( fire emblem, etc) are still near the launch RPP even years after release.

Switch direct on Sept 13th at 11pm our time. Its said to be about 45mins long for Switch & 3DS stuff.

A cart version of the SNES classic please ;)

Wonder what we will see. They have done a good job so far but not really sure how next year will work month to month as we are getting the big hitters right now

Please let there be some confirmed dates for the virtual console. I need some retro games on my switch.

Maybe they'll announce a subscription Nintendo plus/gold service where you get access to Nintendo classic games and online play for an annual fee.
