i have been watching on and off all day

has this storm not been as bad as first thought? only most things i have watched suggest so... albeit not ideal

No they didn't, their on-screen caption has said Cat2 for about 10 minutes now. Their 'gustometer' thing was spiking up to around Cat4 but that's not the same thing.

If you hate CNN so much, why are you watching it?

If you are referring to the red bar, you clearly don't know what that bar means.

They've just had the gustometer up again - going from just under the Cat3 threshold up to Cat4, so sustained speeds are just under Cat3 so it's a Cat2, as they've been reporting for 20+ mins now.

No it's CNN they are always a bunch of drama queens for the BIGGER drama queens that watch them and believe them.

Where do you think CNN are getting the 15ft figure from? Or do you think they are just making it up?
 
Being here right now it is no even close to how bad they made it sound worst thing so far has been a few mobile homes ruined by a tornado and some flooding from storm surge

Well you seam to know so tell me with a link. Because other stations are reporting nothing as bad a s CNN.
StormTracker 10\Dopplers are not showing what CNN are reporting.

I'm still waiting for the 15ft wave to come up that street.
