You vs the girl he cheats with

Obvious isn't it?

These days the only time I see my wife with her hair done nicely and a nice dress on is when she is going out with friends.

Although I think this particular one is along the lines of the classic "if you don't keep your man happy then another woman will"
 
I think it's an interesting insight into the thoughts of women.

If their default opinion is that men are unfaithful by nature and need their attention kept by dressing up then does that not encourage the woman to also be unfaithful in return?
 
the joke is that you look better than the girl he cheats on you with? or at least, your hair is wicked, the girl he cheats on you with her hair isn't so good. so in other words. guys don't give a **** about the expensive waste of money hair styling that girls get done as gus will still cheat on you with a girl who has lesser hair, as in reality it's not about this fake perfect expensive hair that guys are attracted to.

ok i think i might understand it a little better now. she's saying that your hair will look so good if done by her, that everyone else will be a downgrade, so feel good about that because whoever he cheats on you with wont be as fine as you.
 
egh ? fairly sure the answer is no, @fairly_sure_the_answer_is_no - from poster's perspective men are more attracted to the right-hand.

Understand it, but says something about American womens (well 18 yr old girl) style/ideas/pre-conceptions, in particular, and maybe the American male.

Not sure it crosses the Atlantic - the 'you'/natural hair looks more attractive than the OTT right ? need to start an OC poll,

I think the explanation is this:

It's not exactly a hair joke. It's hair used as a "I'M BETTER THAN HER, HE'S AN IDIOT!" statement. The "joke" is just sneering at the other woman and thus at the man for choosing her.

The idea is that the hairstyle on the left is far superior to the one on the right, so "you" is far superior to "the woman he cheats with".

Rather sad, really.
 
I'd have thought the girl who the guy has cheated with would have the messier hair after he's done his best to put her head through the headboard several times the night before?!

I think it's basically "men's eye is drawn by women who make it really obvious". Like, push up bras, heavy makeup, extremely tight curls.
 
Who cares when it's wrapped round your hand and you're pulling on it whilst thinking of new horse names and your incoming jockey career.
