actually wheres @SexyGreyFox he has to deal with teenagers fairly reguarly in regards to health classes iirc
if you're about dimple how wpuld you describe the sexual education/general awareness of sex in the UK 14-16 year olds you deal with?
Well remembered but that was between 2008 to 2010 but I moved on

Very quickly, I had a class of around 30 x 16 year old girls and one came to me saying she had unprotected sex the night before so I arranged for her go back to school to be dealt with. The rest of the girls were gossiping and I heard one say "It's OK, she's only done it once". This prompted questioning from me and the majority of girls thought you had to have sex 5 to 10 times before getting pregnant. Only 1 girl in the class got the correct answer and when I asked her how many minutes would it take she said 'It could be seconds'.
From there I contacted the schools and I arranged for professionals to talk to all my pupils. It was amazing hearing some of their replies to the sex educators.
The thing is they don't listen to adults and would rather hear what their friends come out with. A good example - one day all 30 turned up for my class but every one of them had a calendar showing they should be at Work Experience in different locations round the City. One girl had started the rumour and every body followed.
