only way i fixed it was by A) removing all USB devices, B) pulling out the power cable for 5 mins then powering back up and loading 18 every time i wanted to play it

I caved and ordered the Ronaldo edition whilst on my "hols" in Argentina, cost £46 so I'm happy. That's my day sorted!

Well got my 2nd TOTW last night in one of my 2 free packs - TOTW Kimmich - not bad start to the season - on 24k with another 11 -13k from TOTW Velbuena to come in... and a few thousands from my gold discards..

Played one game and won 4 0 - was a fun open game...

downloaded last night and loaded the game to get the initial packs. best pull was morata.
Will get a few hours in tonight.

One thing i noticed is that hunter cards are on the market at around 3400 , last fifa these instant sold at 5k.

Anyone tried squad battles? I did last week on EA Access, got to Elite 3 and when I checked after the end of the week, I'd been put down to Gold 1? I thought once you achieved a rank then you'd stay there? Like now, it says my points this week are 5,939 but I'm on Gold 2 with 4620? So not sure what's happening.

That's me got my icon edtion stuff this morning , im enjoying this fifa more than the last. However i have had some mad games , i have IF fabianski in the net who looks quite good as is much cheaper than de gea/ courtois but the keepers are very poor.
The high scoring games are mad , i had an 8-8 draw earlier and i also played against a guy who used his Ronaldo (real ronaldo from brazil) card and i couldn't get my defenders to mark him at all , i lost 9-1 with Ronaldo scoring 8 haha.

Overall though im liking it so far. I have traded a hell of a lot and have 40k in the bank along with my team

Quite a decent side , saving for aguero although i am tempted to change formation and try Sane , everyone who has him against me seems really dangerous with him.

I'm tempted to drop money for 12k points to push me on but really grudge the 70odd quid ontop of the purchase price for the icon edition.

I’d never buy points tbh

I’ve seen streamers buy 12k like it’s nothing and end up with rubbish.
Plus a great team in fifa doesn’t matter a lot of the time...I’ve beat dream teams with a cheap free pack only squads many a time.

I got the icon edition coming today and after that all packs I open will be earned or the ones free

Course your going to go down the ranks when somebody score goes above you. It will alter every couple of hours until the times up for rewards to be decided.

I bought the icon edition however when i load ultimate team I have no free packs, or the loan for ronaldo. Is there something I need to do to access them or should it appear automatically?

Stupid question but did they download? I know on mine because I had EA Access I had to go into manage game and download the extras.
