FIFA 18

Played fifa 18 on my friends Xbox for the first time tonight. Think I'll wait another bit for the price to come down. Wasn't impressed by it that would make me buy it immediately.
 
Just picked up a TOTW Kane so I’ll see how that goes.

I’m not really that comfortable sinking 250k+ into an untradeable card.
 
I’d be tempted to pump money into packs to get him but I don’t feel playing with icons will make me enjoy the game any more this year. If anything I’ll just end up worse still losing to the same sweaty BPL teams knowing they’ve spent zilch and EA have rinsed me.

It’s became quite apparent most players who ragequit against me or rage down the mic seem to be those who’ve put some money in to the game, had someone earlier with Del P, Overmars and Costa prime cards ragequit after 1 goal.
 
Played few mat he's last night attempted division's again first game won and all went my way 4-1 second game lost 2-0 had all the shots better accuracy and passing stats but lost :/
 
I'm playing WL. I'm finding it's not as toxic as it was before (maybe due to the fact people want to save time for SB etc.)

Currently on 18 wins, 10 games left. I love my Liga Nos side, cost me 16k and have beat many > 500k teams.

Can someone confirm for me, monthly rewards, it doesn't matter if you are gold 3 or gold 1? All the same?
 
they changed it last year to be 3/4/5 cards for G3/2/1 respectively, not sure if they've reset it back to 3 for all? Would be a bit odd
 
First time using Martial for a few games and he seems very good, didn't think he'd be worth the coins.

Also find Yaya still very good in game, he scores quite consistently from range and controls the midfield.

Yeah very similar to 17, he just works because of his pace, 4* WF and relative size and strength for a winger. Wins a surprising amount of headers as well.
 
Might get Zlatan to stick up front with Martial - Sterling LF and RF, should hold up nicely for the lay offs and always handy for set pieces and firing home when he has space.
